The Internship will take place at the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs located in Government Center in downtown Miami, conveniently located on the MetroRail and MetroMover. Internship is approximately 16-20 hours a week, and most hours will take place during regular business hours Monday – Friday, although some weekend and evening hours will be needed. Internship is unpaid, but internship credit is available per your school's requirements.
The Culture Shock Miami intern will have the opportunity to assist with:
· Promoting events through news blasts and social media
· Representing Culture Shock Miami at Community events and shows
· Media planning
· Artist research
· Ticketing and inventory management
· Other related duties
