“El daño que hace el tabaco” (The Dangers of Tobacco Smoking) by Anton Chekhov was chosen to be the first theatrical play presented during the Drive-Through Theatre Experience because it follows the theme of the series: short and significant, yet light-hearted performances that comfort and bring a smile to our audience. “El daño que hace el tabaco” is a comedic one-act monologue that allows our patrons a brief escape from these current challenging times. Anton Chekhov was a fantastic playwright and considered to be among one of the greatest fiction writers in history. We are honored to present his work in this modern outdoor environment.
