Sensory Sunday

Sensory Sundays are designed for families of children, teenagers, and young adults who are neurodiverse, on the autism spectrum, or have sensory processing disorders, or cognitive disabilities. We provide inclusive experiences for the whole family! Explore our exhibition Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida througha touch tour and enjoy the galleries at your own pace. Play in our sensory-inclusive room and interactive building blocks area. Come and make lasting memories with your family in a welcoming and accommodating environment!
Admission to Sensory Sunday is FREE with required Registration. Capacity is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you register but cannot attend, please let us know so we can open your space for another family. Free Family Fun Day: Happy Birthday Everglades!
December 14 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Join us on the second Saturday of each month from 10am to 5pm, with activities from 11am to 4pm, for free things to do, learn, and experience with the whole family! Spend the day exploring the history and culture of our vibrant city.
Our legendary River of Grass is one of the wonders of the world! Celebrate with us the inception of the Everglades National Park on December 6th, 1947. Learn about the unique history of this vast subtropical wilderness, meet the wonderful rangers who protect our park and enjoy craft activities. Plus, don’t miss a special guided tour of our exhibition spaces. Discover the magic of the Everglades!
