Objects In The Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear
Synopsis:
A one-year international dance exchange between Miami and Havana with choreographer-performers Abel Berenguer (Miami) and Sandra Remy (Havana), which will be supported and presented in Miami.
From the Barrio to the Mainstage with the goal of co-creating a choreography based on the original concepts of Berenguer, which will use performers in both cities. Objects are Closer than They Appear approaches through dance the illusions and realities of life in Miami: the sunshine, the false wonderland, the heartless paradise of a magic city, which also has a refreshing functionality, comfort and decadence as long as you play by the rules.
Approximate running time: 60 minutes with no intermission.
