Join us for a reading and conversation with award-winning poets Alexandra Lytton Regalado and Jordan Pérez. Following their reading, the poets will pose questions to one other, as well as field questions from moderator Laura Villareal, who will identify resonances and unifying themes across their work. There will also be a Q & A with the audience.
This event is presented in special collaboration with Letras Latinas. Letras Latinas, the literary initiative at the Institute for Latino Studies (ILS), strives to enhance the visibility, appreciation and study of Latinx literature both on and off the campus of the University of Notre Dame. They put an emphasis on programs that support newer voices, foster a sense of community among writers, and place Latinx writers in community spaces. They will be celebrating its 20th anniversary throughout calendar year 2024.
