Miami Light Project, in partnership with YoungArts, presents the South Florida premiere of Touch of RED by Shamel Pitts | TRIBE. Inspired by the quickness of footwork in boxing and the camaraderie within combat, this dance performance created by the visionary Brooklyn-based arts collective TRIBE—led by artistic director and choreographer Shamel Pitts—utilizes projections, animation, original soundscape, scenography by MacArthur Fellow Mimi Lien, lighting and movement to create an immersive world.
