Filmed at North Beach Bandshell, this live-streamed event will feature Miami-based performing artists reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s six principles of nonviolence. Voices of Freedom: An Arsht Center Tribute to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be presented in partnership with the City of Miami Beach.
Performers include singer-songwriter Kaylan Arnold, poet Darius Daughtry, singer-songwriter Sherretta Ivey, adult chorus Miami Sound Choir and children’s chorus The Children's Voice. Speakers include Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber and Adrienne Arsht Center President and CEO Johann Zietsman. The event will be hosted by HOT 105’s Traci Cloyd and directed by M. Denise Simmons.
