The 2020 Miami International GuitART Festival presents 19th century music specialist and virtuoso guitarist Marco Batttaglia in a solo concert, performing a program of works in two themes: nature and the Opera. Featured works by Johann Kaspar Mertz, Mauro Giuliani, and Napoleon Coste are based on operas of Gaetano Donizetti, Gioachino Rossini, and Vincenzo Bellini.
The festival continues until February 23rd with daily concerts, masterclasses, lectures, and Luthiers Expo. More info and festival pass available at migf.fiu.edu
