The Sleeping Beauty, Act III

The court is celebrating the wedding of Princess Aurora and Prince Florimund. Characters from other fairy tales have joined the celebration. After Aurora and Florimund's grand pas de deux, the occasion ends as the entire court joins in the finale.
 
Don Quixote, Pas de Deux
Choreography: Claudio Muñoz, after Petipa
Music: Ludwig Minkus
A fiesta is held to celebrate the marriage of Kitri, the inn keeper’s daughter, and Basilio, the town barber. The two young lovers celebrate their betrothal by dancing a grand pas de deux.
 
A Dance in the Garden of Mirth
Choreography: Stanton Welch
Music: Traditional 13th & 14th Century
Set to music of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, “A Dance in the Garden of Mirth” was designed to capture the vibrancy and joy present in the music and gatherings associated with that time period. It tells the story of a particular type of music and the way that music can affect people.

Houston Ballet II will be at The Moss Center on the following dates/times:
  • Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 8:00 PM 
  • Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM 
 
Note: All Patrons entering the facility require a ticket including infants. Outside food & beverage are not allowed into the venue. Strollers are not permitted inside the auditorium.

It is the policy of Miami-Dade County to comply with all the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center facility is accessible and Assistive Listening Devices are available in the Main Stage Auditorium and the Black Box Theater space.

Teens and young adults ages 13-22 can buy tickets for $5 using the Get Tickets button below. With the purchase of one $5 ticket for someone within the age range, a second $5 ticket can be purchased for an individual of any age to join them.
