Ballet Flamenco La Rosa is reaching out to the community for collaboration in a project selected by The Knight Foundation New Work 2020 initiative.
We invite everyone to submit writings about their feelings and experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Students, teachers, artists and all humans are invited.
You may submit poetry, essays, journal entries, spoken word pieces or thought fragments to be considered for inclusion in our project. All points of view are welcome.
Your piece may be sad, happy, ironic, comic, fearful, inspirational or whatever you like. Please keep in mind that it must be appropriate for General Audiences.
The project, entitled Me Duele el Aire, will be a Dance/Theatre piece, using these writings as inspiration. We will create a Flamenco work, and include some of these writings as part of the lyrics to be sung by the Flamenco singer, and some as source for images and scenes. Credit will be given to all participants.
Please include with your submission:
Name - Phone Number - Email Address
Optional:
