Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida opens its 2026–2027 season with an inspiring evening celebrating the beauty, elegance, and artistic diversity of ballet. This exciting program features internationally acclaimed choreography, beloved classical masterpieces, and contemporary works performed by the company's exceptional artists. The evening includes Vicente Nebrada's Pentimento, the exhilarating Spring Waters by Asaf Messerer, Maestro Vladimir Issaev's Four Seasons, and the return of Corpus by Lusian Hernandez, an expressive contemporary work first introduced during the pandemic and now returning for a broader audience. The program concludes with Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida's first presentation of the magnificent Raymonda Grand Pas, Marius Petipa's celebrated classical masterpiece set to Alexander Glazunov's glorious score. Renowned for its regal elegance, brilliant virtuosity, and breathtaking ensemble dancing, it provides a spectacular finale to an unforgettable evening. Miami City Ballet opens its 26/27 Season with a sparkling mixed bill that weaves together classical brilliance, jazzy elegance, and an electrifying world premiere! The program kicks off with George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante—a kinetic burst of technical precision and youthful exuberance that defined his neoclassical style. Then follows a world premiere by former MCB Principal Dancer Patricia Delgado, marking a homecoming for an artist whose roots in Miami have blossomed into a career defined by her highly tuned musicality. Ending the evening with a bang, the company premiere of Jerome Robbins’ seminal work N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz infuses the improvisational spirit of American jazz into classic ballet vocabulary. Learn how to salsa in a free and fun class for beginners of all ages! Without a doubt, any time you spend in Miami will involve salsa music, so why not learn how to dance to it? Join us in the Freedom Tower's Knight Skylight Gallery for MOAD Moves: Salsa Workshop with Michelle Gonzalez de la Cruz. In this beginner-friendly class, instructor de la Cruz will teach attendees the fundamentals of salsa footwork and timing. Once everyone is comfortable with the basics, the class will then enjoy putting it all together, practicing the moves in a fun and supportive environment. Perfect for all ages, the class is open to the public and free to attend. Attendees may park for free at MDC's Parking Lot 1, located on the south side of the Freedom Tower. The Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) at MDC may document the event, including its attendees. By entering the area, and/or participating in the event, you consent to the recording and its use in any form.

Performance showcasing the progress our students have made Ballet technique in the Vaganova Method, Contemporary, Character and Flamenco. With a renowned faculty specialized on the Russian Vaganova Method, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida concludes the Summer Intensive Program of Russian technique, attended by dozens of young dancers from the United States and other countries who auditioned to be part of the Intensive Summer Program. For 28 years, the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, located in North Miami Beach, has been offering this important outreach educational program led by Maestro Vladimir Issaev. The end of the Summer program will take place at the Littman Theater, where our dedicated and talented dancers will present excerpts of La Esmeralda , showcasing the most significant variations and adagios as well as Character, Flamenco and Contemporary dances. Join AileyCamp Miami as it celebrates its 18th anniversary season with a culminating presentation featuring ballet, jazz, modern, West African and spoken word performed by AileyCampers. AileyCamp Miami is a free, six-week, full-scholarship summer day-camp program for students ages 11 to 14 currently enrolled in a Miami-Dade County Public Middle School. Using dance as a vehicle for developing self-esteem, creative expression and imagination, AileyCamp Miami at the Arsht is offered in partnership with the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation. Admission to this performance is free. However, first-access passes are required.

Featuring company premieres by acclaimed choreographer Dayoung Jung, Artist in Residence Yanis Eric Pikieris, and DDTM dancers Selah Jane Oliver and Rafael Ruiz-del-Vizo, this dynamic program blends virtuosic movement with the power of live music.
